Irina was the first person to be employed by Beyond 26 when she became a document shredding supervisor. After two amazing years of learning and growing alongside Beyond 26 she’s moving to Oklahoma to pursue new adventures working at a children’s camp.
Executive Director, Dirk, explained that Irina has been a valuable member of the document shredding team. She is incredibly attentive to the document shredding employees and their skills, strengths and challenges. She helps them grow and become more confident in their abilities.
“Even though she has some physical limitations there was no hesitancy in her ability to supervise,” Dirk said.
Dirk further added that Irina is a gifted leader who embodies Beyond 26’s mission and shows all the shredding employees the importance of relying on one another and working together as a team.
“It doesn’t matter who you are, you are welcome here. We may have to do things differently, but we get the job done,” Irina said.
Irina will be starting her new job working at a camp for children. There she will be helping specific camp weeks designated for disabled children. Her time as Beyond 26 as well as her other experiences will make her a wonderful addition to the camp staff.
“My favorite part is working with these kids. They are a joy. I love watching them support each other especially when they can’t do something…It has been such a privilege to work here.”
Irina will certainly be missed but we can’t wait to see what God has in store for her in Oklahoma.
